Step into the Divaville Lounge on Sunday, November 9 from 2-4 pm as we celebrate Veteran's Day with a special guest! Rod Hungerford served in the US Navy from 1943-1946. A radio operator on the destroyer escort USS Otter,(DE-210) Rod will tell us about his experiences during the war, and we'll hear some of his favorite wartime songs. Join us in honoring this veteran!

Step into the Divaville Lounge on August 10 from 2-4 pm, as we pay tribute to a giant of popular music: Louis Armstrong. Arguably the most important American musician of the 20th century, Armstrong's influence on jazz is hard to measure. We'll learn about the revolutionary New Orleans jazz scene which Armstrong helped create, hear some of his earliest work on cornet with King Oliver and with the Hot Fives, and play favorites from Armstrong's many years of superstardom. Tune in for an afternoon of Satchmo classics!
